Specifications: toothed drive pinion shaft.

OEM part number: 8140.6.

Part sold under the Valmy France brand. Send us a photo of the old shaft and the number of teeth: we check the match before shipping.

The drive pinion shaft transmits all the torque to the rear axle. When its teeth or splines wear, the axle becomes noisy and play increases.

Identifying your Cirta drive pinion shaft

This shaft fits Cirta tractors. Count the pinion teeth and the shaft splines, then compare the length with the old part. If in doubt, send us a photo from the contact page: we check the match before shipping.

Fitting it correctly

The pinion and the crown wheel work together: always check both. Fit the shaft with bearings in good condition, then set the preload and the pinion-to-crown-wheel backlash as recommended. Finally, refill the axle with fresh oil.

Why choose Valmy France

Our shaft is machined from the original part. And we work directly, at a fair price. See also our other agricultural transmission parts.
