The Claas eccentric shaft, or camshaft, drives the baler’s mechanisms. When its journals or cams are worn, the movements lose their timing and the baler wears faster.

Compatible models: Claas Markant 51, 55 and 65 balers.

Specifications: baler drive eccentric shaft.

OEM part number: 803887.

Part sold under the Valmy France brand. Send us the baler’s serial number: we confirm compatibility before shipping.

The eccentric shaft keeps the baler’s mechanisms in time. When its journals wear, settings no longer hold and the other parts tire faster.

Identifying your Claas eccentric shaft

This shaft fits Claas Markant 51, 55 and 65 balers. Compare the length, the journals and the position of the holes with the old shaft. If in doubt, send us the baler’s serial number from the contact page: we confirm before shipping.

Fitting it correctly

Mark the position of the driven parts before removal. Clean the bearings, fit the new shaft, then refit the parts in their original position. Then grease and check the timing by turning the baler by hand before starting it up again.

Why choose Valmy France

Our shaft is machined from the original part. And we work directly, at a fair price. See also the Claas needle roller and our other harvesting parts.
