Compatible models: Cirta C4006, C6006 and C6807 tractors.

Specifications: key switch with pre-heat position, supplied with its keys.

OEM part number: 12400/1.

Part designed from the original and sold under the Valmy France brand. Send us a photo of the old switch and its connections: we check the match before shipping.

A failed ignition switch stops the tractor, yet the part can be replaced in a few minutes. You still need to choose the right model and reconnect it correctly.

Identifying your Deutz ignition switch

This key switch fits Cirta C4006, C6006 and C6807 tractors. It has a pre-heat position before starting. Note the part number on the body of the old switch, then compare the number of terminals. If in doubt, send us a photo from the contact page.

Replacing it without wiring mistakes

First disconnect the battery. Then photograph the wires of the old switch before removing them, or mark them with tape. Reconnect each wire to the same terminal on the new switch, then tighten the mounting nut without forcing. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the pre-heat, then the start.

Why choose Valmy France

Our switch is designed from the original part and supplied with its keys. And we work directly, at a fair price. See also the Deutz combination switch, the Deutz starter pull control and our other tractor electrical parts.

Ordering your ignition switch

To receive a quote, give the part number, quantity and delivery country on the contact page, or simply send a photo of the part via WhatsApp. We reply with the price, lead time and export documents required, and the shipment leaves from France or Spain. These parts are small and light: it is often wise to keep one in reserve, so a simple contact never stops the machine.
