Knife sections work thousands of strokes every hour of cutting. Firmly fixed, they cut cleanly; a single loose bolt can break a section.
Identifying your Sampo section bolt
This round-head bolt holds the knife sections on Sampo Rosenlew combine harvesters. It is supplied with its nut. If in doubt, send us a photo of the old bolt from the contact page.
Fitting it correctly
Clean the cutter bar and check the sections. Fit each bolt from underneath, with the head fully seated, then tighten the nut without overdoing it. Replace tired bolts at the same time as worn sections.
