The guide

Choosing the right agricultural hydraulic parts

A linkage that drops by itself, an engine that overheats: on a tractor, the hydraulic and cooling circuits work non-stop. Our agricultural hydraulic parts, such as the Deutz water pump, are designed from the original part to withstand pressure and heat, season after season. And if a part is missing from the catalogue, our engineering office can design it.

  1. A pump or a cylinder doesn’t tolerate approximation: a little too much play, and you get a leak or a loss of force. That is why every part number starts from the manufacturer’s original part, analysed by our engineering office in France. We then have our own moulds made, and the part is approved in the laboratory (material, hardness, dimensions) before production starts.

    • Traces of fluid under the pump, or a drip at the weep hole: its internal seal is worn.
    • An engine overheating for no obvious reason: the water pump no longer delivers enough flow.
    • A bearing noise, or play in the pulley shaft: the pump is reaching the end of its life.
    • A linkage that drops by itself or lacks lifting force: look for an internal leak in the hydraulic pump or cylinder.
  2. A leaking water pump always ends up overheating the engine, and an overheated engine costs far more than a pump. So at the first sign, note the number engraved on the pump body, or send us a photo: we identify the part and confirm the match before shipping.

  3. The price gap with the big brands doesn’t come from the part: it comes from margins and middlemen. We work directly, from design to shipping, with stock prepared in advance. You get the machine back to work quickly, with maintenance costs under control.

For oil grade and change intervals, follow the manufacturer’s recommendations, for example Massey Ferguson.

Quality control

The 5 criteria of a quality part

A good part can be recognised before fitting. Here is what we check, and what you can check yourself.

5/5 Criteria checked
on every part number
  1. Traceable materials

Each batch is linked to its steel grade, matching the original part.

    Checked
  2. Our own moulds

It is made on our own tooling, not copied by eye from a worn part.

    Checked
  3. Approved in the laboratory

Dimensions and strength are then checked before production starts.

    Checked
  4. European and international standards

Compliance is documented, part number by part number.

    Checked
  5. Stated warranty

Finally, duration and terms are written down before the order, not after the breakdown.

Your part number isn't in the catalogue? We design it.

The online catalogue only shows part of what we can do. Send us the number engraved on the old part, or a photo of it. Our engineering office analyses it, then we reply with the matching part and the price.
