The guide

Choosing the right agricultural engine parts

A tractor engine at a standstill means a lost working day, sometimes a whole harvest. Our agricultural engine parts are designed to get the machine back to work without unpleasant surprises: turbo turbines, piston rings, cylinder head gaskets. The online catalogue only shows part of our range: if yours isn’t there, our engineering office can design it.

  1. Every part number starts from the manufacturer’s original part. Our engineering office in France analyses it, then we have our own moulds made. Before production starts, the part is approved in the laboratory: material, hardness, dimensions. As a result, it fits in place of the original part, with no adaptation.

    • Blue smoke, rising oil consumption: the piston rings are often the cause.
    • Coolant level dropping, emulsified oil: check the cylinder head gasket.
    • Loss of power, whistling when accelerating: the turbo turbine needs checking.

Replacing the part at the first signs always costs less than an engine rebuild.

  2. Each product page shows the Valmy France part number and the OEM part number. Note the number engraved on the removed part, or the one on the engine plate, and give us the tractor model. If in doubt, a photo is enough: we check the match before shipping.

  3. We work directly, from design to shipping. The price gap with the big brands comes from margins and middlemen, not from the part. You cut your maintenance costs without the risk of a low-end copy that gives up at the first heatwave. And because stock is prepared in advance, the part ships quickly, from France or Spain.

For service intervals, the recommendations of manufacturers such as Deutz-Fahr or Sonalika remain the reference.

Quality control

The 5 criteria of a quality part

A good part can be recognised before fitting. Here is what we check, and what you can check yourself.

5/5 Criteria checked
on every part number
  1. Traceable materials

Each batch is linked to its steel grade, matching the original part.

    Checked
  2. Our own moulds

It is made on our own tooling, not copied by eye from a worn part.

    Checked
  3. Approved in the laboratory

Dimensions and strength are then checked before production starts.

    Checked
  4. European and international standards

Compliance is documented, part number by part number.

    Checked
  5. Stated warranty

Finally, duration and terms are written down before the order, not after the breakdown.
