Harvesting and baler parts

All our part numbers in this family. If your part doesn't appear, our engineering office can design it.

The online catalogue shows a selection of our part numbers. Our production capacity goes far beyond it.

The guide

Choosing the right harvesting and baler parts

During harvest or haymaking, a baler at a standstill means bales left on the ground and a job falling behind. Our baler parts cover the tying system: knotter bills, baler needles, twine knives, pick-up tines. They are designed to keep up with the pace of the season, without breaking at the wrong moment.

  1. A good knot depends on parts that fit perfectly together: the bill, the needle, the knife and the spring tension. That is why we start from the manufacturer’s original part, our engineering office redraws it, and we have our own moulds made. Each part number is then approved in the laboratory before production, to fit like the original.

    • Missed knots, bales coming apart: the knotter bill is worn or out of adjustment.
    • The twine reaches the knotter badly: the needle is bent or worn.
    • Frayed, badly cut twine: the twine knife has lost its edge.
    • Tying too loose or uneven: the spring has lost its tension.
  2. The best breakdown is the one you avoid in the workshop. Before the season, check the knotter wear parts and keep the most stressed ones in reserve: a spare bill or twine knife saves a day of baling. Send us the part number or a photo of the part: we confirm the match before shipping.

  3. We prepare stock in advance, so the part ships quickly when the season is in full swing. And because we work directly, with no middlemen, the price stays fair compared with the big brands. In other words, we don’t cut corners on quality, we cut margins.

For knotter and needle adjustment, the Claas manufacturer’s manual remains the reference.

Quality control

The 5 criteria of a quality part

A good part can be recognised before fitting. Here is what we check, and what you can check yourself.

5/5 Criteria checked
on every part number
  1. Traceable materials

Each batch is linked to its steel grade, matching the original part.

    Checked
  2. Our own moulds

It is made on our own tooling, not copied by eye from a worn part.

    Checked
  3. Approved in the laboratory

Dimensions and strength are then checked before production starts.

    Checked
  4. European and international standards

Compliance is documented, part number by part number.

    Checked
  5. Stated warranty

Finally, duration and terms are written down before the order, not after the breakdown.

The online catalogue only shows part of what we can do. Send us the number engraved on the old part, or a photo of it. Our engineering office analyses it, then we reply with the matching part and the price.
