The Claas Markant needle brings the tying wire to the knotter with each bale. Bent or worn, it misses the wire: badly tied bales, repeated stoppages in the middle of harvest.
Compatible models: Claas Markant 50 and 51 balers with wire tying. Also listed for the Markant 55 and 65.

Identifying your Claas Markant needle
This needle is designed for wire tying on Markant 50 and 51 balers, and it is also listed for the Markant 55 and 65. Check your baler’s tying type, twine or wire, as the parts differ. If in doubt, send a photo from the contact page.
Fitting and adjusting it
First check the roller and the shaft of the needle mechanism: play at that point shifts the needle. Then set the needle position relative to the knotter according to the Claas manual. Finally, make a few test bales before resuming the job.
