The Claas pick-up tine, or spring tine, picks up the crop from the ground and feeds it to the baler. Broken tines leave straw or hay in the field and slow the job down.
Compatible models: Claas Markant 40, 41, 50, 51, 55, 60 and 65 balers, Claas Rollant 34, 44, 62 and 85 round balers.

The Claas pick-up tine works just above the ground, against stones and clods. That is why it often breaks, and why an incomplete pick-up loses crop.
Identifying your Claas pick-up tine
This spring tine is 205 mm long, with a coil of 29 mm inner diameter. It fits Claas Markant balers and Rollant round balers. Measure an original tine if in doubt, then send the dimensions from the contact page.
Replacing tines efficiently
Replace all broken tines at the same time, for even pick-up across the full width. Then adjust the pick-up height so the tines don’t scrape the ground: it is the main cause of breakage. The settings are in the Claas manual.
