The Deutz clutch fork pushes the release bearing when you press the pedal. Worn or cracked, it develops play: the pedal goes soft, the clutch disengages poorly and gears crunch.

The clutch fork transmits the pedal effort to the release bearing. A tired fork makes disengagement uncertain, and wear quickly spreads to the release bearing and the clutch cover.
Identifying your Deutz clutch fork
This fork is cast with part number 430 8027. It fits the Deutz D 4006, including the Cirta C4006. Compare the shape and the spacing of the arms with the old part. If in doubt, send us a photo from the contact page: we check before shipping.
Fitting it correctly
The fork is replaced during clutch work, with the gearbox split from the engine. Check its shaft and bushes, lightly grease the contact points with the release bearing, then adjust the pedal free play after reassembly.
