The Deutz 4006 release bearing presses on the clutch cover when you push the pedal: it is what lets you disengage. When worn, it whistles or grinds with the pedal down, then ends up locking the clutch. Better to replace it at the first noises.
Compatible models: Cirta C4006 and Deutz D 2807, D 3006, D 3607, D 4006, D 4007, D 4807 and D 6007 tractors.

Identifying your Deutz 4006 release bearing
Part number 01266401 is engraved on the bearing ring. Note it on the old part, then compare the dimensions: 50 mm inner diameter and 82 mm outside. Note that the Deutz 6006 and larger take a different bearing, the Deutz 02388802 release bearing. If in doubt, send us a photo from the contact page.
Fitting the release bearing without surprises
Take the opportunity to check the disc, the clutch cover and the fork. Then clean the guide tube and lightly grease it. This bearing is greasable: remember to grease it regularly afterwards, without overdoing it. Finally, adjust the pedal free play according to the tractor’s workshop manual.
