The Deutz stabiliser chain limits the side sway of the three-point linkage lower arms. Without it, the implement swings at work and can hit the rear wheels. A stretched chain or a seized turnbuckle no longer holds the setting.
Compatible models: Cirta C6006 and Deutz D 6006, D 6806, D 7006 and D 7206 tractors.

Stabiliser chains keep the implement in line with the tractor. Properly adjusted, they stop the plough or cultivator from swinging and hitting the wheels.
Identifying your Deutz stabiliser chain
This chain fits the Deutz D 6006 to D 7206 and the Cirta C6006. Its length adjusts from 650 to 740 mm with the central turnbuckle. It is fitted in pairs, one on each side of the linkage. If in doubt, send us a photo of the mountings from the contact page.
Fitting and adjusting it
Hook the chain between the bracket on the axle and the lower arm. Then adjust the turnbuckle to leave slight play at work, or lock it for transport. Finally, grease the turnbuckle so it stays easy to adjust.
