Identifying your Deutz brake pedal spring
This spring fits Deutz 6005, 6806 and 7206 tractors. Compare its length and the shape of its hooks with the old spring. A spring that is too stiff would make the pedal hard, and one that is too weak would let it return poorly. If in doubt, send a photo from the contact page, with the tractor model.
Replacing it easily
Replace the spring as soon as it is slack or the pedal returns poorly. Then check the pedal pivot and grease it. Finally, check the brake free play and the left-right balance according to the Deutz-Fahr manual.
