This 13-inch disc, i.e. 330 mm, has 21 splines. It fits the MF 440 Xtra and other models of the brand, from the MF 283 to 299 up to the 5283 to 5290. Count the splines and measure the diameter of the old disc, then send these dimensions from the contact page if in doubt.
Fitting it correctly
First check the condition of the flywheel and the pressure plate: blued or scored surfaces will quickly wear a new disc. Then respect the disc’s fitting direction and centre it with a suitable tool. Finally, adjust the pedal free play to the Massey Ferguson values.
